Awkward is a graphic novel, and a very relatable one mind you! this graphic novel is about a girl named Penelope Torres, or Peppi Torres, Peppi is new to Berrybrook Middle School, and she has all the rules to survive school, #1 seek out groups with similar interest (in her case: Art) aaaand #2 Don't get noticed by the mean kids. but on her first day of school she breaks rule number two, Peppi trip's and fall's over a quiet boy named Jamie Thompson, when Jamie tries to help her up, all the kids start calling her "nerder's girlfriend" so what does she do? she shoves him, and run's away. Sara is put on a mission where she play's the most important part, but things get a little weird when mother discovers something in during the mission, and things start to go a little sideways, so now Sara is forced to cope with this new situation, and try to finish the mission safely.
