NFL 2021-2022 Season Record Predictions

By: Jack McLane

NFC

NFC North

Green Bay: 12-4. I think that the NFC north is one of the weaker divisions right now and Green Bay is by far the best in this division.

Minnesota: 9-7. I think that Minnesota is going to start playing better because I think they will trade up and target someone in the draft like Mac Jones to learn behind Kirk Cousins.

Detroit Lions: 6-10. It pains me as a Detroit Lions fan to give this team such a bad record but I just don’t think we will be that good of a team.

Chicago Bears: 4-12. I honestly think the Bears have been a fluke of a team for a while now and now is the year they will fall apart I think.

NFC East

Dallas Cowboys: 10-6. I think that Dallas has a bright future with Dak Prescott and a young defense, I think this team is going to win the worst division in football.

Washington Football Team: 9-7. I think Washington is a great team with a really strong defense, but they don’t really have a good quarterback after releasing Alex Smith.

New York Giants: 5-11. Like I said earlier, this division is garbage and I honestly have given up on Daniel Jones.

Philadelphia Eagles: 4-12. I think Jalen Hurts is going to play well but not well enough with this not so strong Eagles team.

NFC West

Los Angeles Rams: 13-3. I think this Rams team with my predicted comeback player of the year Matthew Stafford and a great defense can go very far this year in the playoffs.

Arizona Cardinals: 11-5. The Cardinals are a great team don’t get me wrong, but adding J.J. Watt really didn’t do much. He’s getting old and is really just taking up cap space, but, he is still a good player and this division is a really strong one.

Seattle Seahawks: 9-7. I think the Seahawks will inevitably part ways with Russel Wilson and they just won’t be very good in this superb division.

San Francisco 49ers: 7-9. I think the 2019 49ers were a 1 hit wonder and they just aren’t as good as they used to be in such a strong division.

NFC South

Atlanta Falcons: 14-2. I think this team will be really strong for a long time because Matt Ryan might be done and they have an early pick this year and can really use help anywhere and with new coaches this team can go far I believe.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 12-4. I think Tom Brady can lead this team super far but just lose the top spot in this division to the Falcons.

Carolina Panthers: 7-9. I think the Panthers could be good with a good quarterback but I think with their pick in the draft this year the top quarterbacks will be gone.

New Orleans Saints: 3-13. This may come as a shock but the Saints are around 100 million over the cap right now and won’t be able to resign anyone and Drew Brees retired and, not to mention they have a late pick this year.

AFC

AFC North

Cleveland Browns: 13-3. I think that this Browns team is the best they have ever been and they will win the AFC North for the first time ever.

Baltimore Ravens: 11-5. This Ravens team is good with Lamar Jackson and J.K. Dobbins but I think that MVP Lamar was a good fluke. Don’t get me wrong, I love Lamar Jackson but I think he needs to step it up.

Cincinnati Bengals: 8-8. I think Burrow will come back strong and lead this team to a good record past the Steelers.

Pittsburgh Steelers: 6-10. I think the Steelers are finished and out of their primes. They just resigned Ben Rothlesburger which was a really bad choice.

AFC East

Buffalo Bills: 15-1. You may be thinking I’m overhyping the Bills, but I know I’m not. This team can go as far as my predicted MVP Josh Allen can take them without any doubt in my mind.

New England Patriots: 13-3. An angry and motivated Bill Belicheck is the scariest thing in football. That is all I have to say.

Miami Dolphins: 11-5. I think the Dolphins are making a huge mistake by making Tua their starter, Fitz is a better quarterback and this team has a top 3 defense. They're still a great team but Fitz is a better quarterback in my opinion.

New York Jets: 9-7. Usually a 9-7 team would at least make the playoffs but with this extremely strong division they will get last sadly.

AFC West

Kansas City Chiefs: 15-1. I believe that Mahomes is angry with how last super bowl went down and wants to prove every one wrong and take the super bowl trophy back home.

Los Angeles Chargers: 10-6. I think Herbert is going to keep moving in the right direction and with a new coach and good pick in the draft the Chargers could be a really good team next year.

Denver Broncos: 8-8. In this universe the Broncos traded up and finally gave up on Drew Lock and drafted Zach Wilson and he led his team to a pretty good season.

Las Vegas Raiders: 6-10. I honestly believe that this Las Vegas team is just not very good, they have good players on defense that can’t perform and I think Josh Jacobs will run for 1,000+ yards again but it won’t matter.

AFC South

Tennessee Titans: 12-4. I really believe that Derrick Henry is only getting better and Ryan Tannehill is starting to be more confident and this Titans team has a really bright future.

Jacksonville Jaguars: 9-7. I think Trevor Lawrence is going to be drafted first overall and lead this team to second in the division. I’m not saying this is a very good team but there is little to no competition in this division.

Indianapolis Colts: 8-8. I like Carson Wentz and this defense a lot, but I think Wentz fell off a cliff in terms of performance and this team is just not going to be very good.

Houston Texans: 2-14. Bottom Line, the Texans are very bad.
