The Greatest Showman is a movie about people who are unique and experience discrimination for being different. In this movie there are people who discriminate against interracial couples, people with tattoos, people with disabilities, minorities and much more. Just simply because they were not what society felt was “normal.” This movie is filled with songs that have powerful meanings. One song that had a big meaning was, “This is me'' In this song Lettie Lutts (played by Keala Settle) explains that she’s not afraid to show her true self over time with the help of P.T Barnum and other characters. This song in particular re-appears multiple times.

In this movie the main character, P.T. Barnum (played by Hugh Jackman) decides to recreate a circus and asks people who are unique to join. By asking those people to join, he helps build their confidence and strength. But soon enough he chooses fame over friendship and loses sight of what's really important. The reason that this is in the movie is to show people that you should not let fame and money take over your life.

If you are the type of person who likes heartwarming movies then this is a movie for you. This movie has its ups and downs but was very well put together. The plot of the movie is excellent! It has life lessons and will teach younger viewers to treat people with kindness. This movie is rated PG. There are some graphics in this movie that might affect certain viewers such as flames and some violence. But other than that we would recommend this movie to people who are at least 8 years old. This movie can teach everyone a valuable lesson, don’t judge a book by its cover!
