Weekly Fantasy: The Wrath Of The Crows

By: Sophia Los

(Please note I make all these stories up) Deep inside a mountain away from prying eyes, a place where no human should go exists. All you can see is a sea of black, but not just any black, the black of CROWS! As far as the eye can see, they are watching you, but something disrupts them. 'Urgent, urgent I have a report to make!" a crow flashes through the cave.

"Yes speak up." a slightly gray crow answers.

"I found a pile of crow bones!" the crow answers back seeming slightly startled.

the older raven opens his eyes wider in shock, but still says, "It seems they have forgotten our terror. Sound the alarm!" Then like a water fall, a caw sounds out, then another and another, until every crow is cawing. Then there was a load sound, and every crow burst into the air feathers trailing behind. They flowed out of the cave, and when they were all gone you could see how vast the cave was, it looked like the entire mountain was hollow, and feathers were every where there is so many that it covered the ground in a blanket of black. The crows all followed that one raven that alerted the elder.

"There! This is it!" The crow stopped midair. and then like a tsunami they all rushed towards a camp of humans. They screamed and ran for shelter, cursing their luck, by the time the crows had left there was only bones that seemed polished. Then the crows swept over the land purging any humans that didn't hide in time. That day was called The Wrath Of The Crows, and the humans never hurt a crow again, for fear they would descend again. "The End! Good night little one" a crow cawed to a smaller crow leaning on him.
