1991
Ting Ting crack, "Wow a cave, guess it struck gold today!" a miner with a creepy grin shouted out "Huh what's this?" A half visible sword could be seen stuck in a rock in the center of the cave, the miner walks over and grabs it's handle. His hand passed right through it as though it was a gas. "What the?" the miner said confused, he keeps trying. The outcome doesn't change, then as he tries for the last time, he finds he can't walk anymore. He looks down, "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" he screams, and then there was silence, there was no one there almost as though no one had ever been there, even the dust wasn't disturbed.
2017
"Hey come on lets go I have something fun planned!" a boy in a green shirt yelled out to a boy in a blue sweater. They raced off each seeming to compete for first place in a race.
"Hey isn't this place haunted?" the boy in the blue sweater questioned.
"Come on Chris that happened years ago." the boy in a green shirt said rolling his eyes. A cave entrance loomed ahead looking like the jaws of death. "Its not that scary," he said looking at Chris. Chris sighed, but they walked walked in together. Tap Tap Tap, the sounds of their sneakers echoed off the walls, then speed up a light was up ahead.
"come on Sean we've been stuck here for hours, I can't wait to get out!" Chris said looking at Sean.
"Yeah our families must be worried," he said in response. Then they stopped disappointment evident on their faces, it was a cave. The blue glow came from a sword in the middle.
"A sword?" Sean said confused, Chris also looked confused. Chris walked forward and reached for the sword, seeming to be under a spell. "Chris!" Sean shouted stopping him at the last moment "We don't know what that is!"
"But...it calls to me." He answered monotone like, continuing to reach for it, he touched it and pulled it out of the rock. A blue glow washed through the cave for a millisecond, and then it was gone taking the two boys with it.
