Last time I decided to do one dessert, but this time, I'm going to spice things up and show you two different tasty recipes you can try at home.
Halo-halo
About the dessert
Halo-Halo is a sweet, refreshing Filipino dessert
that won't regret making. It contains, crushed ice,
evaporated milk, ube ice cream, coconut
strips, sweetened beans, and various other
optional toppings. Later on i'll give the full recipe
on how to make it if you’re interested in trying
it. Halo-halo is a cold dessert because, the
Philippines is very hot, and it's meant to cool you
down. Unlike Japanese cheesecake, halo-halo
originated in the Philippines, although it's very likely
the ingredients were delivered from Japan. Something
you may have not known about halo-halo is, in
tagalog halo-halo means “mixed,” probably because
there's many ingredients mixed together. Unfortunately,
I didn't get to make the dessert this time, but i do
remember tasting it many times before and I’d 100%
recommend giving it a try! The recipe is below if
you decide to try making it.

Deditos de Novia
About the Dessert
Deditos de Novia is a delicious sugar coated
pastry from the Dominican Republic. It's an simple
dessert that you can bake anytime. The ingredients
it contains are, flour, milk, powdered sugar, butter,
baking powder, brown sugar, vanilla or almond extract,
and guava paste. If you're considering baking it, and
curious on what the pastry taste like, it tastes like a
sweet biscuit/cookie with powdered sugar. I ended up
baking it this time and definitely worth trying and you
should give it a try! There weren't many facts I could
find it but the recipe is below if you’re interested.
