Bored? Well here are 10 fun ways to make sure your summer is full of excitement!!!
10) Scavenge for cool found objects around your home and revamp them
When you're stuck at home and bored what other way than to DIY any furniture, art, frames, or other pieces of decoration lying around that could use an upgrade. Spend your time upcycle your old finds into something fresh that will look brilliant when your out or when summer over.
9) Get sporty
When you're having your friends over or you and your family are bored, but you don't know what to do? Well, it the perfect time for going outside and playing a good game of badminton, volleyball and, tennis. Take what gear you’ve got and set it up in your backyard or if you don't have any ask if you can take some from your local park to compete against your friends and family.
8)Bike around
If your parents are telling you to go outside and play. Well, it's the perfect time to go on a nice short/long bike ride to enjoy the city or roadside view with your family or friends to keep you company. However, it's perfectly safe as you will be riding you can be social distancing.
7) Volunteer for your community
Whenever your feeling down try helping some members of your community by delivering meals to older folks, organizing a cleanup around your neighborhood, restocking your local community fridge, and etc. So by the end of the day, you be feeling happy to see many people smiling, as you made an impact in the world.
6) Cooking Food/Garding
Another way of spending time outside is gardening your home with fresh veggies. So, for the next part, you could use the fresh veggie or ask for fresh veggies and then search for a recipe to experiment with your new veggies.
5) Photography challenges
Do you like taking pictures? Do you like decorating? Well if you do give yourself a photo challenge for a day. You can make up your own or search online for popular ideas. Then after you have done it, take the best ideas and decorating your walls with your photos.
4)Go for a hike/walking tour of a city
Most cities have some kind of free walking tour ], and if you can’t find one you can easily map out some landmarks and interesting spots around your area with an interesting history that you can visit or you can just roam the shops sightseeing. However, if you like taking a long walk then go into a woods trail, but if you like short walks then Head to national and state parks or even just the local trail.
3) Collect natural objects for art
Nature can be beautiful so it's the perfect excuse to be creative as you can press flowers that you can collect and hang them on a wall. You can also find branches stones and pinecones to hang on your wall to show real natural decorations. However, if you want more nature to hang you can always look into your backyard and see if there are objects that look good.
2)Stargaze or meteor shower gaze
Want a calm night away from the stress? Well if you do then you should find a nice place outside where you can see the sky so at night time grab some friends or family to watch the stars or planets. However, you could also stargaze for a night when there’s a meteor shower for a spectacular show.
1)Water
When it's especially a hot day go to your local pool or your own pool to spend some time in cold water as you can also plan a trip to the beach. However, if you don't like to swim then if you have the equipment, you can take your kayak, raft, or canoe out for a spin on your local swimming hole or a quiet river to go for a quick dip is equally as fun.
