Hi, In this article I am going to give you DIY’s such as: Crafts, recyclable things, and holiday/birthday gift ideas so you can see things that you can do by yourself at home with supplies that you can get cheap!
Crafts!
Lip balm!
You need ...
A small pot and a large pot for melting/mixing (or a double-boiler)
A whisk or spoon to stir it all (the whisk is better)
Glass droppers
Pots or tubes to contain your amazing lip balm of awesomeness
1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil
2 Tablespoons Sunflower Oil
1 Tablespoon & 1 teaspoon Beeswax or Carnauba Wax
10 drops Lemon essential oil*
Chop or grate your wax quite finely, and scoop it into your smaller pot (or pyrex measuring cup) along with your butters and oils. Heat about 2″ of water in the larger pot/double boiler, and once it’s warm, place the wax-filled pot inside it, ensuring that the water doesn’t spill into the smaller pot at all. Keep the water on medium-high heat until the wax and oil mixture has melted, whisking or stirring it gently to dissolve it evenly. Once it’s all melted, remove it from the heat, set it aside, and add your essential oils. (Note: The scent of them will dissipate a little bit, so feel free to add a few more drops than listed in the recipe if you feel it’s necessary. If you find that the mixture is starting to firm up, put it back over the heat to melt into liquid again. Use your dropper to transfer the liquid balm into your empty containers, and let them cool overnight (or about 10 hours) before closing them. Add cute labels as desired, and moisten up everyone’s lips to your heart’s content!
Magnets!
You need…
-hot glue
-magnet
-any thing you want to put in your magnet.
First you need to get a circle magnet you can find them at the dollar store i believe and then you need to print your design of any paper you want or you can take a small object and put it in the glue so you stand your object up on the magnet or cut out your paper to your magnet shape then you want to carefully place the glue on the magnet to shape it around the magnet and there you have your magnet!

Bottle top pins
You need…
-Bottle cap
-image of your choice
-paint
-hot glue
-Pin Backers
First you want to print an image of your choice and then cut it out as the shape of your bottle cap once you have done that you can paint the bottle cap any color you want it depends on your choice once you let that dry you are going to glue in your image with hot glue if you are printing it from your phone i suggest you print it on a google doc because you can make it any size. And just glue the pin on and you are done with your recyclable pin
Toothpick worry dolls
You need…
-3 toothpicks
-string
-tacky glue
-fabric
- foam
First you need to take 2 toothpick and glue them next to each other, after you are going to take 1 toothpick and cut it in half those are your arms and glue these on to the 2 toothpick, after that you are going to glue the first part of the string around the body and then glue it again at the end when you are done with wrapping the string. Once that is done you are going to take a head shape small foam and glue it on the body and then sew a dress or pants and a shirt and you're done.
Holiday/birthday gift ideas
DIY globe
You need…
-a jar depends on how big your pic is.
-a picture of anyone on anything(depends on who u r giving it to)
-clear duct tape
- hot glue
You first start of on finding a picture if it is to your friend try to pull up an image of you and her/he or something your friend/family member next if this picture is on your phone/tablet then email it to you then save that picture on your computer pull it up on a google doc, and make it the size of your jar I did a jar about 10 inches so i made the picture 8 inches and my width was 8 inches so I did 7 inches for the picture. Once you have done that then you will print the picture and cut it, then take your clear tape and tape on the picture, this is the hardest part because if the tape is too small you have to add more tape on the side but align it together. Once the picture is taped you will hot glue it to the cap then put it upside down and u r done you can also add water, confetti.
DIY candle
You need..
-Pot
-hot plate
-wax
-wicks
-container
-popsicle stick
-color and fragrance (optional)
Before you pour the wax, place your wick into the appropriate vessel. We like to use an empty candle container that was previously used up—it's both eco-friendly and budget-friendly! Set up the pot over a heat source, such as a hot plate or electric stove. Add the wax and allow it to melt. Add your color and fragrance to the melted wax in the pot, if desired. Carefully pour the hot wax into the container. Use skewers or popsicle sticks to help keep the wick in place. Let the wax cool completely and then trim the wick down to size! Now u are done giving this to a friend or family!!
