You just need 3 ingredients, and 4 tools! What you need: flour tortillas olive oil salt aluminum foil baking sheet (optional) fork or knife (optional) cooking brush directions: 1) preheat oven to 400-450 degrees. if you like your chips browner, 450 degrees is best, and vice versa. 2) line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. 3)put the tortillas on the baking sheet. 4)rub or brush the oil all over the tortillas. 5)(optional. this removes bubbles in the chips when cooking. I like my chips bubbly, so I usually skip this step.) stab the tortillas with a fork or knife ALL OVER. 6) put the baking sheet in the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until desired crunchiness. you can test how crunchy it is by gently touching the tortilla with a toothpick. (the longer its in there, the crunchier it will be, but be careful! if its in for too long, you can burn your chips. keep a constant eye on your chips, because tortillas brown quickly.) 7)remove sheet from oven. 8) let your chips cool. 9)lightly (or heavily. whatever works for you.) salt your chips. 10) enjoy your chips! I hope these turned out good. if you liked them, great! this makes for a good snack, but you can also add taco meat, salsa, cheese, etc, to have a flat taco. oh hey! We basically just made a flat taco shell. thanks for reading! take care. :)
