You ever have those moments where you say something, but it doesn't go to plan, sounds weird, or just felt like you plopped a giant elephant between your conversation? here's some pointers to make you and others more comfortable in a conversation! when your late INSTEAD OF: Sorry to keep you waiting SAY:Thanks for being patient! when you have a presentation, ted talk, etc. INSTEAD OF:Ladies and gentlemen! SAY:Hello everyone! Or, of course: hello there, guys, gals, and non-binary pals! when asking someones gender INSTEAD OF:are you a boy or a girl? SAY:What are your pronouns? when trying to hint at someone you want them to teach you to draw INSTEAD OF: Your art is so much better than mine no fair! please teach meeeeeee!!! SAY:Thats a nice sketch! I'm struggling with drawing <hands, people, animals, etc.> could you show me how you do it sometime? hope these help you sometime :) take care!
